A recent audit of the Southeast Laborers Training Fund by an independent consultant found that the course presentations are of high quality and the Southeast Laborers Training Fund always provides the classes that are requested and is responsive to need.  The audit also found that the training courses train workers well and make them more desirable to employers after they have completed training, along with giving workers confidence and a sense of pride.  The director and staff are also responsive to unions and work closely to meet their goals and needs, as well as successfully advancing unions and making contractors more competitive.
